My wife Beatriz and I are terribly sad to hear that Anna has passed away, far too early.

We first met Anna through Helmut, who helped us to settle in Munich before moving to Darmstadt and shortly after back to Austria. I met her again several times in Vienna. Her work supporting the students of the Logic PhD program was just brilliant. One of them, Marijana Lazic, joined my group as a great postdoc.

Anna was a bright, warm, and very kind person. We will miss her very much. Our thoughts are with Nikita in this difficult time.
